Thomas Alexandridis is a Lecturer in the Laboratory of Remote Sensing and GIS, School of Agriculture, A.U.Th. His specialization in the field of Applied Remote Sensing started with a Masters Degree in Cranfield University (United Kingdom) in 1996 and continued with a PhD from the School of Agriculture (A.U.Th.) in 2003, in close collaboration with the International Water Management Institute (Sri Lanka and Pakistan). His research interests are environmental, agricultural and water resources monitoring and modelling using Earth observation, and multiple scale issues in remote sensing and GIS. He has authored 15 journal and 38 conference papers, and has participated in more than 20 research projects funded by the EU, European Space Agency, and various national sources. He has supervised and co-supervised several undergraduate and postgraduate theses.
